King Charles made a triumphant return to Royal Ascot on Tuesday, leading a regal carriage procession alongside Queen Camilla.

Riding in the first horse-drawn carriage with Prince Faisal bin Salman Al Saud and Lady Sarah Keswick, the King looked in high spirits as the five-day racing extravaganza kicked off in full royal style.

The annual event, steeped in tradition, comes fresh off the heels of Trooping the Colour and the Order of the Garter.

Royal Ascot remains a beloved fixture for the family, and it appears King Charles is now fully embracing the racing scene.

According to The Sun, he’s expected to attend all five days this year, citing a “newfound passion” for the sport.

Princess Anne joined the second carriage with Queen Camilla’s sister, Annabel Elliot, while Peter Phillips rode in the third with his girlfriend, Harriet Sperling, and author Anthony Horowitz.

The fourth carriage featured Lord and Lady Vestey with Lady Joanna and Henry Morton Jack.

Though the late Queen was famously devoted to horse racing, insiders say King Charles is enjoying getting “stuck in,” making this year’s Royal Ascot one to watch.
