Oscar-winning actor Morgan Freeman made an appearance at the 97th Academy awards to pay tribute to late friend and legendary actor Gene Hackman after his demise in February 2025.
The 87-year-old actor looked more fragile than ever leaving fans concerned.
Freeman has been about his health struggles as he was diagnosed with fibromyalgia after surviving a near-death car crash in 2008, leaving him with nerve damage that has not healed.
The accident also caused his left hand to be paralyzed for which he has to wear compression gloves.
According to RadarOnline, the actor is dealing with a lot of health issues. “His mobility has never been the same, he’s in constant pain, he’s tired and can’t stand for very long.”
People with Fibromyalgia suffer from intense musculoskeletal pain, memory loss and fatigue. Although it does not reduce life expectancy, it does make it painful for the sufferer to stay alive.
Despite his health concerns, the near-90 actor is working on his next project, Now You See Me 3.
