Meghan Markle receives invitation for ‘Suits’ return

Meghan Markle is being offered an open invitation to return to Suits by the creator of the original series, Aaron Korsh who attended the premiere for its spinoff, Suits LA.

Discussing the Duchess of Sussex’ possible return to the world after exiting it in 2018, “So, look, to me, we have thought about whether it be Meghan or any of the other cast members coming on and playing themselves as an actor. I think for me that's a little ... My brain blows up at the thought of that.”

He continued, “So I think it blows up the world too much. Obviously, if Meghan wants to come back under any circumstances, Meghan can come back.”

After being asked if she has an open invitation to come back to the series, he said, “Of course. Of course. Always. But I think realistically, it would be too much of an explosion of the fourth wall to do that. Yeah.”

Suits LA will be debuting on 23 February in the same universe as the original; however, the cast will be different. The spinoff had been announced soon after the old series shot up in popularity on Netflix.

Meghan Markle left Suits in 2018, and admitted in an interview with Variety, “No. I'm done. I guess never say never, but my intention is to absolutely not.”
