American actress Sydney Sweeney upcoming project raises concern after announcement
Sydney Sweeney, who is known for her role in Euphoria, was announced as the lead in Colman Domingo’s upcoming project.
Although the 27-year-old has been called out previously for many controversies, Sydney’s new biopic Scandalous sparked a strong reaction from Kim Novak.
In her recent conversation with The Guardian, Kim slammed the title of the film which surrounds around her relationship with Sammy Davis Jr.
The Hollwyood icon expressed her concerns that “they’re going to make it all sexual reasons.”
According to the 92-year-old the name is not best suited to summarise that stage of her life as “[Sammy is] somebody I really cared about.”
The Vertigo actress revealed about their relationship that the two “had so much common, including the need to be accepted for who we are.”
However, the romance between them ended when they received threats from Harry Cohn of Columbia pictures, insisting the bond was “bad for business.”
It is to be noted that the actress did not contest to the idea of being presented by Sydney, who usually makes headlines for bizarre reason.
Regardless, the movie will begin production after Sydney wraps up filming the third season of Euphoria. The filmmaker of the biopic is yet to comment about any change that might be introduced.
