According to a recent social media post, Nicolas Cage unveiled a new bright red hairdo.

On Twitter, user Morganna Bramah (@Cyborganna) shared a photo of Cage grinning heartily and sporting some recently highlighted red hair.

She captioned the photo, "Just Nic Cage with new Cherry red hair, that's it, that's the Tweet."

It's unknown whether the new appearance is for a movie, but the adored actor is currently listed as having four distinct movies in post-production, so it's conceivable he just decided to switch things up a little for fun.

According to reports from earlier this year, Cage, 58, would provide the voice of a vodka-swilling dragon in a brand-new streaming series that has been transferred to Paramount+. The "True Detective-meets-Pete's Dragon project," which was reportedly in development at Amazon Prime Video, is now rumored to have switched streamers, according to Deadline.

The new show, Hellfire, was inspired by novelist Eoin Colfer's adult suspense novel of the same name.
