Actress Christina Applegate said to be under hospital care for ongoing complications
Christina Applegate has reportedly been admitted to the hospital as she continues her fight against multiple sclerosis.
According to TMZ, the Married… with Children star was admitted in late March and is said to still be receiving care.
However, details surrounding the reason for her hospitalization have not been disclosed.
The update follows a recent pause in Applegate’s MeSsy podcast, which she co-hosts with Jamie-Lynn Sigler.
She’s had a long history of complicated medical conditions that she has been refreshingly open about, as evidenced in her memoir and on her podcast.
Earlier this year, Applegate launched You With the Sad Eyes, offering insight into the challenges the condition presents in her everyday life.
In the memoir, she shared that chronic discomfort and movement difficulties leave her spending much of her time in bed.
“My life isn’t wrapped up with a bow. People’s lives, sorry for lack of a better term, f–king suck sometimes. So I’m being as honest and raw as I possibly can,” she wrote.
