Hailee Steinfeld makes emotional motherhood confession

Hailee Steinfeld has opened up about the emotional lessons motherhood has already brought into her life.

The 29-year-old actress revealed a heartfelt shift in how she sees herself since welcoming her baby girl with husband Josh Allen.

In a fan Q&A for Beau Society, the singer reflected on self-image and the example she wants to set for her daughter.

“One of the most unexpected things I've learned... unconditional self-love,” she admitted, saying motherhood has made her realise that how she views herself will shape how her daughter sees herself.

Hailee and NFL star Josh welcomed their baby girl in April, announcing the news in a heartfelt Substack post calling it their “Special Delivery.” 

The couple said they were “feeling incredibly grateful and blessed” as they adjusted to life as new parents.

Allen, 30, previously said fatherhood is “the most important thing” in his life, despite his pride in playing quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, adding that the couple would “figure things out on the go.”

Hailee first shared her pregnancy journey publicly in late 2024, posting glimpses of her growing bump and moments with Allen, including a snowy clip of him kissing her stomach that melted fans’ hearts.

The pair first linked in 2023 and tied the knot in Santa Barbara in May 2025, before stepping into their new chapter as a family of three.

Fans have flooded social media with love for the couple, praising her honesty about motherhood and the pair's grounded approach to family life despite their global fame, with many calling their journey “adorable” and inspiring.
