Mikayla Nogueira fights for health after collapsing while filming

Mikayla Nogueira has revealed she was rushed to hospital after collapsing while filming a TikTok video.

The beauty influencer later discovered that she needed emergency appendix surgery.

In a video shared with her millions of followers on Friday, the 28-year-old was seen in a hospital gown and flats, walking with an IV drip as she explained the shocking ordeal. 

She revealed she had called 911 after passing out from severe pain while attempting to film a makeup tutorial, which led to an ambulance ride and urgent hospital admission.

Following concern online, Mikayla posted a follow-up update from her hospital bed, where she detailed how the pain began while flying home from Los Angeles to Massachusetts. 

She said she tried to “sleep it off” but woke up in worse condition, before pushing through to film content. 

However, during recording she suddenly felt the room spin, struggled to breathe, and collapsed. 

A CT scan later showed her appendix was close to rupturing, requiring immediate surgery.

Now recovering, she confirmed she has three incisions and is struggling to walk, but is being cared for by her boyfriend Zach. 

She also reflected on their long history, noting they reconnected after knowing each other since high school, despite her ongoing divorce proceedings from estranged husband Cody Hawken. 

“It’s going to be an interesting few days,” she said, reassuring fans she is resting at home.
