David Beckham is keeping a low profile on matters related to family tensions.
During a new Variety interview, the former football star remains tight lipped about his family situation while marking an important career milestone.
“To be honest, I’m sorry to stop you there, but that’s a private matter,” the 51-year-old said when asked about the situation.
“That’s the one thing that I don’t want to talk about.”
The exchange came as the Inter Miami co-owner marked his Hollywood Walk of Fame honour, surrounded by wife Victoria Beckham and their children Romeo, Cruz, and Harper.
However, Brooklyn does not attend the event, even though he resides in Beverly Hills with his wife Nicola Peltz.
The Walk of Fame honour marked a significant milestone in Beckham’s career, recognising his achievements in football, business, and global influence.
The star will be placed in Hollywood as part of a ceremony that celebrates long standing contribution to entertainment and culture.
Meanwhile, Victoria previously addressed the family scrutiny in an interview with The Wall Street Journal, saying, “We’ve always tried to be the best parents that we can be.”
