Pop Icon Mariah Carey shut down the rumours about her “explosive fight” with Jay-Z in a hilarious way on her official Twitter account. After The Sun reported that Mariah left Roc Nation after having an explosive fight with its founder, the rumours started developing that she walked out because the pair had a disagreement about the future of her career.
The 51-year-old hitmaker took to her official Twitter account to remind the fans that she did not have any fight with the business mogul and ensured everyone that there is no bad blood between the two. She tweeted a clip from her 1999 music video with Jay Z and wrote:
"The only 'explosive' situation I'd ever 'get into' with Hov is a creative tangent, such as our #1 song 'Heartbreaker'!!" To the people who make up these lies I say 'Poof! —Vamoose, sonofa-----'!"
A close friend of Mariah told PEOPLE that the report about her brawl with Jay-Z was “completely made up”, even if the fact she has left Roc Nation is true.
"The relationship with Roc Nation ended amicably and Mariah and JAY-Z are on great terms. She's now represented by Range where her former Roc Nation manager is a Managing Partner," the source divulged.
Jay-Z and Mariah have collaborated many times over the years.
