Joe Biden to require a walking boot: 'CT scan confirmed hairline fractures'

US president-elect Joe Biden might not be able to walk properly for the next few weeks.

America’s favorite sprained his ankle on a Saturday afternoon while playing with dog Major.

"Initial x-rays did not show any obvious fracture, but his clinical exam warranted more detailed imaging. Follow-up CT scan confirmed hairline (small) fractures of President-elect Biden’s lateral and intermediate cuneiform bones, which are in the mid-foot," Biden's physician Dr. Kevin O'Connor revealed.

The doctor also prescribed Biden to take care of his health and advised him to walk carefully for the upcoming days.

"It is anticipated that he will likely require a walking boot for several weeks," the doctor continued.

The former vice president, 78, was taken to an orthopedist in Newark, Delaware, on Sunday afternoon only to come back with a walking boot.
