Niall Horan stuns fans by secretly recording duet with Ella Bright

Niall Horan left Off Campus actress Ella Bright speechless after secretly turning her solo cover of Baby Now That I Found You into an unexpected duet.

The former One Direction star recorded his vocals without Ella's knowledge for Off Campus: The Mixtape (Extra Credit), giving the young actress an emotional surprise when she heard the finished track for the very first time.

In a video capturing the heartwarming moment, Niall delivered a special message before the song played. 

"You don't know this yet, but you're about to listen to our version of Baby Now That I Found You," he told the stunned actress.

As the music began, Ella, who plays music student Hannah Wells in the hit hockey romance series, could barely contain her excitement. 

Smiling in disbelief, she simply said: "I'm obsessed. That's so beautiful."

The TV adaptation is based on Elle Kennedy's bestselling novel The Deal, which follows Hannah and college hockey star Garrett Graham as a fake relationship unexpectedly turns into real romance. 

Kennedy has previously praised Ella's performance, saying the actress perfectly captured Hannah's passion for music and brought "joy" to the role.

The surprise collaboration comes during a busy year for the 32-year-old singer, who recently released his fourth solo album, Dinner Party.

One of the record's standout tracks, End of an Era, carries deep personal meaning after being reworked following the death of his former One Direction bandmate Liam Payne.

Reflecting on the emotional writing process, Niall revealed the song evolved into a tribute celebrating happy memories rather than focusing solely on grief. 

He explained that he, songwriter John Ryan and producer Julian Bunetta drew comfort from remembering their years travelling the world together with Liam.

What Makes You Beautiful singer hoped that the song would resonate with anyone who has experienced loss while honouring the joyful moments they shared.
