Niall Horan shares rare health concerns ahead of 'Dinner Party' tour

Niall Horan candidly revealed about a serious health struggle he’s facing currently during his latest appearance.

In his recent interview, the 32-year-old former One Direction star, who had knee surgery back in 2014, shared that he’s concerned that he might need a hip replacement in the future.

Speaking on The Zach Sang Show, he said, “My knees are f****d. The hips are going now too.”

The singer admitted it might be in his genes. “I think I was just genetically f***ed from the day I was born. My dad is 66 this year. He’s just had a knee replacement… had a hip done 18 months ago. He’s getting another hip done now,” he explained.

Moreover, he added that it seems to run in the family, as he told the host, “My uncle had two knees done. Like, it’s a thing. I think I was just ruined from the day I was born.”

On a lighter note, he also disclosed a bit about his new album, Dinner Party, confessing that his girlfriend, Amelia Woolley, inspired some of the tracks.

“She did a lot of crying,” he joked.

Meanwhile, the Irish singer is making sure his fans get recognition too.

For the unversed, the inspiration for his song Flowers actually came from a fan’s tweet that said, “Your eyes could grow flowers.”

During the chat, he told the interviewer, “I need to find that person so I can give them their writing credit.” 

Notably, Niall Horan is set to take Dinner Party on the road with Dinner Party Live on Tour, performing in cities across the UK and Europe. 

However, the UK leg begins 22nd September 2026 in Birmingham, and he’ll also perform at The O2 in London.
