Dixie, Charli D'Amelio pose with chef Aaron May after backlash from fans

Dixie and Charli D’Amelio reunite with their personal chef, Aaron May after the much-heated controversy.

May is the very same chef regarding whom the TikTok sisters were bashed over mistreatment, in the first episode of their YouTube web series, Charli and Dixie:2 CHIX.

On Friday, Charli posted a photo via her Instagram Story where she and Dixie posed alongside May and YouTuber James Charles who held up a chicken nugget.

The TikTok stars lost a million followers after releasing an episode of their new YouTube series, “Dinner With the D’Amelios,” on Monday.

During the premiere episode, May told Dixie to eat the snail that she found in her food as it would bring them “good fortune.” Disgusted by the suggestion, Dixie left the kitchen to throw up outside.

Fans did not react well to the episode and bashed the starlet for being disrespectful to her chef.

After the hate, Dixie had no choice but to apologize. The star posted a  TikTok video where she said, “My team knows I throw up a lot. I throw up at the smell, the thought or the taste of anything,” she explained. “So, when they saw the snails, they were like, ‘Oh, let’s get her and try to see if we can get a reaction out of her.’”

While the controversy is still in heat, this picture shows the sisters are trying to make amends for face-saving.
