Selena Gomez all ready to portray First lady of Rock Linda Ronstadt

Pop sensation Selena Gomez has been roped in to play the titular role in a forthcoming Linda Ronstadt biopic.

Rolling Stone and Variety confirmed the news that Gomez has been chosen for the much-anticipated biopic.

On Tuesday, the Only Murders In The Building actress teased the news on her Instagram story with a shot of Ronstadt’s memoir titled Simple Dreams.

On the other hand, Ronstadt too dropped a Facebook update which she captioned, “It all started with a simple dream” adding a few emojis to sign off.

To note, the biopic for now is in its pre-production stages.

This is not it for the pop star; she received a Golden Globes nomination for essaying Mabel Mora in the Only Murders In the Building series.
