Michael B. Jordan reflects on life after Oscar sharing where is the trophy

Michael B. Jordan opened up about post-Oscar life and his future plans.

The Creed actor, who won his first ever Oscar for Best Actor for his role in Sinners, shared where he has kept the precious trophy.

In an interview with the E! News during the premiere of animated movie Swapped, when asked where his accolade is kept, he said, “Right now, it's, uhh — right now it's in my closet. It's in my closet right now.”

He added, “It's one of them things that, I don't know, you don't really know where to put it, you know. It's kind of moved around to a bunch of different places."

However, he went to make a physical gesture indicating that that his Best Actor Oscar win is no longer at the top of his mind.

"[I'm] focused on the next thing right now,” he said.

Jordan is next voice acting in Netflix original Swapped, in which he portrays a woodland creature named Ollie who accidentally swaps bodies with a bird named Ivy (Juno Temple), Ollie's natural enemy.

The People magazine also confirmed that he was set to direct and star in a remake of The Thomas Crown Affair in 2024.

The movie is a remake of the original 1968 movie that starred Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway, which also received a 1999 remake starring Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo.

In his appearance at the CinemaCon 2026, during the debut of trailer of The Thomas Crown Affair, he told Entertainment Weekly, “I've been daydreaming about making this movie for years.”

He first saw the 1999 version of Thomas Crown when he was 12 years old and thought to himself, "I wanna be in a movie like that one day."

The Thomas Crown Affair is in theatres on March 7, 2027, while Swapped will be released on May 1.
