Rosalia breaks silence about being cast in 'Euphoria' amid controversies

Rosalia, who is known for popularising flamenco with a pop twist, made an appearance in season 3 of Euphoria.

The 33-year-old singer turned to her Instagram and penned down a message for her fans with a picture of her sobbing.

She revealed in the caption that this was her face when “I was confirmed" to be part of Euphoria, making it her first project.

Rosalia was overwhelmed after being selected to portray Magick, noting: “Imagine having a dream for years and it comes true when you least expect it.”

The musician revealed that she had to “learn a choreo in less than 48 hours,” gushing about having “an entire galaxy in my biceps.”

Towards the end of the message, the Con Altura crooner expressed her gratitude towards the director and writer of the popular series, Sam Levinson.

She wrote: “Thank you Sam and everyone else for believing in me,” admitting being an eternal “fan of Euphoria and graaaaaad for this experience.”
