Euphoria has finally dropped a new trailer for its upcoming third season, marking Eric Dane's final appearance in the show.
For the unversed, the 53-year-old actor, recognized for Grey’s Anatomy, died in February, about a year after sharing his ALS diagnosis, a progressive neurodegenerative disorder.
After his April 2025 announcement, the late star returned to reprise his role as Cal Jacobs, the father of Nate Jacobs (Jacob Elordi), in the HBO Max drama.
In the newly released teaser, Cal is seen reuniting with Jules (Hunter Schafer), the former high school student he had a one-night encounter with in season one.
“Remember me?” Jules asks as she approaches him at a bar. “How could I forget?” he replies.
Meanwhile, according to IMDb, the deceased actor appears across all eight episodes of the forthcoming season.
The trailer also highlights Rue (portrayed by Zendaya) being questioned in a police interrogation room about a trip to Mexico, along with glimpses of Nate and Cassie’s (portrayed by Sydney Sweeney) wedding, Lexi (portrayed by Maude Apatow) working as a Hollywood screenwriter, and Jules stepping into modeling.
It is pertinent to mention, the season three arrives after a three year gap since the previous installment, with creator Sam Levinson confirming a five year time jump following the characters’ high school graduation.
Notably, the upcoming season premieres Sunday, April 12, on HBO Max.
