Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, paired up in The Rip, were invited at The Howard Stern Show where the Hollywood A-list star shared a secret.

The 72-year-old asked the two actors about the earlier times of their career and how they chose to do movies as one “cannot afford to even judge movie.”

However, The Accountant 2 star revealed he used to believe that Matt is gone “nuts” as he was picky for movies.

Ben admitted pointing out that “you don’t have any money… We’re broke, dude.”

On the other hand, the Gone Girl star believed in choosing roles that “will pay me. I wanna make a living as an actor.”

Contrary to his initial beliefs, the Hollywood star understood and “learnt a lot” from Matt’s way of moving in the industry. He even called himself “wrong” for picking roles his way.

According to the Justice League star, The Odyssey actor’s approach is the correct one but is “just exceptionally difficult.”

Reflecting on his earlier career, Ben revealed doing movies that he is “not particularly proud of” but paid him “million dollars, two million dollars.”

Turning to the Interstellar actor, the filmmaker appreciated his discipline and work ethics.

When is The Rip coming out?

His new movie with the 55-year-old film producer is all set to premiere on Netflix on January 16, 2026, which is a crime thriller.
