Jennifer Lopez has made it crystal clear she knows exactly what she wants from love now and she’s not settling for anything less.
The 56-year-old superstar sent fans into a frenzy during her Up All Night Las Vegas residency when she opened up about relationships while performing her 1999 hit If You Had My Love.
But this time, the song came with a powerful new message shaped by experience, heartbreak and self-respect.
Addressing the crowd at Caesars Palace, Jennifer reflected on how her feelings have evolved over the years.
Once sung with youthful hope, she now performs the track “in power”, making it clear that love has to be earned.
She told fans that any future partner would need to treat her right, respect her, and fully accept her for who she is.
In short, if someone wants her love, they’ll have to rise to her standards.
The On The Floor hitmaker, who has been married four times, admitted love isn’t easy and comes with pain, but insisted heartbreak is simply part of the deal.
“That’s what you sign up for,” she said honestly.
Anaconda actress also showed her playful side by joking about her recent split from Ben Affleck during her first Vegas show.
Laughing, she quipped that she’d “only been married twice” since her last residency, before correcting herself and teasing, “It was only once – felt like twice!”
For the unversed, the couple famously reunited in 2021 after nearly two decades apart, marrying in 2022.
Then Dance Again singer filed for divorce in 2024, with the split finalised earlier this year.
With eight more Vegas shows lined up for March 2026, she is clearly focused on herself, her career and loving life on her own terms.
