Simone Ashley achieves milestone as ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ drops

Simone Ashley, who is well recognised for her character Kate Sharma in the hit series, Bridgerton, recently achieved major milestones in her career.

The actress is set to star in the sequel of the 20-year-old movie, The Devil Wears Prada, which will be mark as her second massive project.

Starring with huge names like Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci, the 31-year-old acts as the assistant, Amari to Meryl’s character, Miranda Priestly in the story.

On the other hand, she was also announced as the cover star of Vogue Germany for the new issue of May on April 20th.

Notably, the star, who is gaining fame, also stepped out after the news and made a stunning appearance at the premiere for The Devil Wears Prada 2 movie.

The special event took place in New York, Lincoln Center, on April 20, 2026, for the movie that is set to be released on May 1st.

For the evening, Simone dressed up in Prada from head-to-toe as she wore a bright green custom-made mini dress, which featured a high-low look.

Although few critics suggested that the dress was not “it” for the major premiere and was more suitable for the after-party, some also praised the artist for her aesthetics.

For the unversed, Simone started working at the age of 21 in 2016, marking this year as her ten-year anniversary in Hollywood.
