Anne Hathaway has sent the internet into a frenzy during press promotions of her highly-anticipated movie, The Devil Wears Prada 2.

Amid her craze, the actress recently drops a bombshell word in her interview and that’s “InshaAllah”.

In a clip shared by People Magazine, the Princess Diaries actress gets candid about ageing in Hollywood and what her life looks like after crossing 40 while working in the industry.

It was in the middle of the interview that Anne says, “I want to have a long, healthy life, Inshallah. I hope so.”

Interestingly, the comment sparks buzz online as her fans share their reaction in the comment section under the post.

One person writes, “I love the random insha'Allah drop.”

Another fan mentions, “Princess of Genovia blessing us with an “inshallah” is my favorite 2026 bingo card surprise yet.”

“InshAllah was everything,” adds some other netizen.

For those unaware, InshaAllah is one of the most widely used expressions across the Muslim world. It translates literally to “if God wills” and Muslims often use this vocabulary in their daily life.

Elsewhere in the interview, Anne also opens up about one of the things she loves being in her 40s.

“I don’t get so swept up in things anymore. I used to really not understand that phrase, ‘Take it with a grain of salt.’ There’s no salt. Every high was so high, every low was so low,” points out The Intern actress.

For now, Anne adds she “values the chill and it’s hard won… I really value it”.

Meanwhile, The Devil Wears Prada 2 is set for release in theatres on May 1.
