Prince Edward made an intriguing comment on a special snack in Ghana during his royal visit.
The Duke of Edinburgh landed in the West African country on Sunday after completing his trip in Nigeria.
The father-of-two arrived in the country for a two-day-visit at the behest of his elder brother, King Charles, who has been delegating him important roles amid stripped Andrew of his titles.
During his visit, Edward had the opportunity to experience a beloved confectionery of the country.
While visiting the Aburi Botanical Gardens, a historically rich site, Edward tried a special Ghanaian chocolate.
He was briefed about the procedure of extracting cocoa which is the turned into chocolates.
Edward carefully listened to them explaining the variety of chocolates that ranged from from ginger, orange, chilli, nutmeg and many more, before trying one.
“People are trying everything with it these days”, Edward commented.
Complimenting the chocolate, he said “So, fantastic. Brilliant.”
The royal was intrigued by the variety of the confectionery and commented that one must “try them all”.
Edward’s visit comes at a time when it was being reported that Harry and Meghan would visit Ghana next.
