Prince Edward has been in Africa visiting different counties to perform important duties.
The Duke of Edinburgh is continuing his mission in the African continent at the behest of King Charles.
Edwards landed in Ghana on Sunday for a two-day-visit after completing his visit to Nigeria.
In Nigeria, Edward completed his visit paying homage to his father Prince Phillip’s legacy.
In Ghana, the duke will work on strengthening the ties between UK and the West African country.
Charles ordered Edward to take on the visit just days after Andrew was stripped of his titles on October 30.
The royal was welcomed by the British High Commissioner Christian Rogg.
Rogg called Edward’s visit a “celebration of the strong and evolving relationship between the UK and Ghana”.
“It’s about recognising our shared values and the real impact of our collaboration from education and climate action to inclusive development and innovation”, he said.
During his trip, Edward will be visiting Aburi where he will visit a Kindergarten and a teaching student class at the Presbyterian Women’s College of Education.
Edward’s visit comes at a time when it was being reported that Harry and Meghan would visit Ghana next.
