Did Kate Middleton receive the never-before-seen royal honour?

Kate Middleton have received many royal titled since she married Prince William.

However, a recent Facebook post caused major confusion regarding a rare honour that has never been heard of.

A post shared on the social media platform claimed that the Princess of Wales has been honoured with the “Order of the Royal Heart” from King Charles.

The post featured pictures from the royals’ French state dinner in July.

It was shared with the caption “This Changes Everything!: King Charles Defies Tradition and Revives Order of the Royal Heart for ‘Daughter’ Catherine.”

The post also claimed that the said honour was lain dormant since Queen Elizabeth bestowed it upon her in 1961 and Charles’ decision to revive it had left advisors in shock.

However, it has been confirmed that it is false.

The series of pictures included an AI-generated images of the monarch appearing to pin a badge onto Kate’s red state dinner gown.

There is no such honour as the “Order of the Royal Heart”.

At the French state dinner on July 8, 2023, the future queen did debut with a newly bestowed honour.

Kate appeared at the dinner with the Royal Family Order of King Charles III for the first time.
