Taylor Swift, who is known for her chart-topping hits, has already broken many records after dropping her 12th studio album The Life Of A Showgirl.

After it release on October 3, the record was massively streamed by Swifties and music lovers from around the world.

The new project resulted in Taylor breaking her own record after it became the “biggest album debut in Amazon Music history,” surpassing The Tortured Poets Department.

It was reported that the melodies topped charts on several other streaming platforms as well on the first day of its launch.

Amongst the 12 tracks, The Fate Of Ophalia is now the most streamed song on Spotify within 24 hours of its launch, making history on the platform.

The track, which garnered around 25.5 million streams, was explained by the 14-time Grammy winner during her appearance on Heart Breakfast radio show.

Is Fate of Ophelia inspired by Hamlet?

She admitted that it draws inspiration from Hamlet by William Shakespeare where Ophelia “was driven mad by love and it’s so the play on it.”

While Ophelia faced a tragic ending in the story, Taylor created a parallel version where someone intervenes to rescue her.

According to an online narrative, the melody is a tribute to her fiancé Travis Kelce after struggling in her past.
