Taylor Swift, known for her chart-topping hits, has recently broken fans’ hearts with a shocking revelation about her music career.
The 35-year-old pop sensation has admitted she has no plans to hit the road again anytime soon, despite the record-breaking triumph of her Eras Tour.
Taylor, who rose to fame as a teenage country singer before becoming a global music icon, made history with her blockbuster run of 149 shows between 2023 and 2024.
For the unversed, the shows raked in a staggering $2 billion, making the Eras Tour the highest-grossing music tour of all time.
During an interview on BBC Radio 1 Breakfast with Greg James, the Lover singer confessed: “I’m gonna be really honest with you. Like, I am so tired when I think about doing it again because I would want to do it really, really well again.”
The songstress admitted she was stunned by the sheer scale of the Eras phenomenon.
“It turned into something that exceeded any of our expectations,” she said. “My band and my team – we’ve never had anything like that happen.”
Fresh off releasing her new album The Life of a Showgirl and celebrating her engagement to NFL star Travis Kelce, she is loving life away from the spotlight, swapping stadiums for sourdough and hobbies she missed during touring.
“I could only do the Eras Tour when I was on the Eras Tour – that was two years of no other hobbies,” she laughed.
