Zayn Malik discloses top music collaboration choice

Zayn Malik may have just sparked fan excitement about a possible future collaboration.

The former One Direction member appeared on Complex’s Interview With a Magician, where he took part in a playful segment that had him quietly noting down the name of an artist he would like to work with in the future.

In his chat with Anna Deguzman, he was asked about a potential artist collaboration he still hopes for.

As she tried to narrow it down, the father of one stayed guarded, saying, “It's not…I don't want to tell you anything.”

She continued, “You're really hard to read. He's honestly the hardest person to read. It gives me nothing. He has a great poker face.”

As the segment concluded, the magician eventually revealed her guess, stating, “He’s more of like a rapper,” before revealing the answer on her board, “J. Cole.”

The Dusk Till Dawn singer then confirmed the same name on his board, reacting with surprise and praise, saying, “That was crazy.”

“Zayn J. Cole collab, that’d be really good,” the card magician added, fueling fan hopes of a potential future partnership.

Notably, he has previously collaborated with top artists from different genres, including Taylor Swift, Sia, and Nicki Minaj, and most recently with BLACKPINK’s Jisoo on Eyes Closed.
