K-pop kings BTS have smashed yet another record and this time, it’s a game-changing one for their US chart legacy.

Their latest album ARIRANG is holding firm at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 for a third consecutive week, marking the first time the global superstars have ever stayed on top for more than a single week.

It’s a huge leap forward for the chart-dominating group, proving their grip on the music world is stronger than ever.

Despite a dip from last week’s massive numbers, ARIRANG still pulled in an impressive 124,000 equivalent album units, miles ahead of the competition during a relatively quiet release period.

Its jaw-dropping debut of 641,000 units remains the biggest opening of the year, trailing only behind Taylor Swift’s recent blockbuster The Life of a Showgirl.

The milestone puts BTS in rare company, the last group to achieve three weeks at No. 1 was Mumford & Sons with Babel over a decade ago.

Meanwhile, Kanye West, now known as Ye, sees his album Bully tumble to No. 3 after a steep drop.

But it’s not just the charts where BTS are making waves.

The group recently kicked off their ARIRANG world tour in emotional fashion, leaving fans and the band themselves in tears.

A surprise performance of their breakout hit I Need U sent the crowd into a frenzy, with the stadium erupting within seconds.

In a heartfelt moment, Jimin opened up to fans, admitting: “The past years were such a pain, not being able to see you.”
