BTS launched their ARIRANG world tour with an opening concert in Goyang stadium on Thursday.
The seven membered group released an emotional concert that brought the fellows and thousands of fans into tears.
The unexpected inclusion of the 2015 I Need U hit that initially propelled the group towards the world prominence in the setlist became the most tender moments of the evening.
The first notes were a catalyst of one of the loudest reactions of the concert, the emotional intensity continued to increase as the show went on.
The members spoke to the crowd one after another with emotional appeals of seeing each other on stage.
"The past years were such a pain, not being able to see you," Jimin the Like Crazy crooner noted.
RM underlined the significance of their entire lineup and said, "More than anything, having all seven of us together is what matters most."
The world wide handsome, Jin later took a retrospective look at the night in a Weverse post, saying that he felt like home doing the show with army again.
He included a heartfelt note to the fans, "I hope to see you all together next time! Then let's meet on Saturday and jump together! Get home safely and good night everyone."
The ARIRANG tour will be the first live concerts of the group since the members have served their mandatory military service.
No further touring dates than South Korea have been announced.
