Olivia Wilde shares rare insight about Elon Musk

Olivia Wilde talked about her earlier interaction with Elon Musk and explained why she now sees him differently.

In chat with Louis Theroux on The Louis Theroux Podcast, the filmmaker shared her thoughts on the tech mogul, misogyny, and the cultural ideas about her 2022 film Don’t Worry Darling.

She stated that she met the Tesla CEO “before he turned into this creature,” adding, “I really resent him now, I really deeply resent him.”

The actress remembered meeting the billionaire years earlier when SpaceX had just launched its Los Angeles headquarters, saying she toured the company’s rockets and said he showed interest in supporting a Haiti based charity she was involved with.

“I got to go on a tour because I wanted to see the rocket ships. And he was interested in donating money to an organization that I was a part of in Haiti that was building hospitals and schools,” she noted.

Moreover, she also discussed Jordan Peterson’s influence on Chris Pine’s character in Don’t Worry Darling, explaining she was concerned by what she saw as a “misogynistic philosophy.”
