Whoopi Goldberg surprises 'The Odyssey' cast with heartfelt confession

Whoopi Goldberg invited The Odyssey cast members, Anne Hathaway and Matt Damon, leaving them feeling heartfelt with her move.

During Anne’s appearance at The View, the 70-year-old actor gushed about the Hollywood A-list star.

She turned to The Devil Wears Prada lead and stated: “Anne Hathaway, it’s been wonderful watching you grown up.”

The statement got the actress extremely emotional as she covered her face and was reduced to tears upon hearing the praise.

Whoopi continued with her remark about her, adding: “And you have just blossomed, turned in to this fabulous actress. Girl!

While Anne kept insisting her to not say further given the circumstances, the comedian continued with her praise about the star.

She insisted that the comment is something she needs “to know and remember.”

The Ghost star then turned to her co-star Matt, admitting she “adored” him since their first meeting “at the Oscars.”

Promoting the newly released Christopher Nolan project, Whoopi gushed: “Do yourselves a favour and go see this movie.”

Lately, Anne has been extremely emotional ever since she confirmed her third pregnancy, flaunting her baby bump on the premiere of the film.
