Demi Moore leaves fans teary with loving message to Scout

Demi Moore has given fans a touching glimpse into her close bond with daughter Scout LaRue Willis as she celebrated the singer’s 35th birthday with a heartfelt surprise.

The 63-year-old actress shared an adorable Instagram video showing herself singing Happy Birthday to Scout, who couldn't hide her delight as she smiled, hugged and kissed her famous mum.

The sweet exchange quickly won over fans, with Scout saying: “Thank you, Mom, you surprised me on tour.”

Moore accompanied the clip with an emotional tribute, describing her daughter as one of life’s greatest blessings. 

She wrote that watching her grow into the remarkable woman she is today has been “one of life’s greatest gifts”, adding that her daughter makes everything “brighter, lighter and so much more beautiful” simply by being herself.

The Substance actress ended the loving message by telling her that she loved her “endlessly”, leaving followers praising the pair’s close relationship.

The birthday celebration came as Scout spent her special day on the road, performing in Salt Lake City, Utah, while supporting country star Maren Morris on selected dates of her U.S. dreamGIRL tour.

The emotional post follows another family-centred tribute from Moore earlier this year when she celebrated Mother’s Day by sharing cherished photographs with her three daughters, Scout, Rumer Glenn Willis and Tallulah Belle Willis, whom she shares with former husband Bruce Willis.

In that post, Ghost star reflected on watching her daughters grow into extraordinary women and also celebrated becoming a grandmother to Rumer’s three-year-old daughter, Louetta.
