Tom Holland recently made an endearing comment on Zendaya after confirming about their marriage last month.
The actor called his Spider-Man: Brand New Day co-star “wife” during an appearance on the UK based Dish podcast, hosted by DJ Nick Grimshaw and chef Angela Hartnett.
In a quick-fire segment, Holland was asked, “Which person would you like a holiday in Greece with?”
The Unchartered actor responded, “I think probably my wife would be pretty good.”
Holland quipped, “It would be a bit strange if I went, ‘Sorry babe, I am gonna take Matt Damon actually.”
Later Grimshaw chimed in and jokingly added, “I’m just having 10 days in Mykonos with Matt.”
Holland previously confirmed for the first time that he and Zendaya had tied the knot during a June interview with Esquire magazine.
The confession came after The Drama actress’ stylist Law Roach had announced in March that Holland and Zendaya’s “wedding has already happened and missed it”.
Earlier during The Odyssey press tour, Holland discussed a theory about Homer’s epic and the relationship between Odyssus and his wife Athena, played by Zendaya.
“Did Athena [played by Zendaya] love Odysseus [Damon] romantically?” said Holland in an exclusive interview with Wired.
“No,” joked the actor, “because she’s married to me.”
