Katy Perry recently landed in hot water again after Anna Kendrick’s bombshell interview resurfaced online.

The Woman of the Hour actress recalled a weird encounter with the Roar hit-maker during an appearance on Conan O’Brien’s eponymous talk show back in 2014.

She told the host that Katy “finger-banged my cleavage. It was a weird night”.

Anna quipped, “She’s very mature.”

Conan was unsure about how to react to this information as he tried to run through the entire incident in his mind.

“Paint the scene. So, you’re standing still and Katy walks by and makes noise and points finger in a downward motion?” questioned the late-night host.

A Simple Favor actress replied, “I have met her before, and she’s like … she’s aggressive. I like it,”

Meanwhile, Anna’s interview resurfaced after Katy completely rejected sexually assaulting Ruby Rose two decades ago.

Last weekend, Ruby took to Threads and claimed that the incident went down at a nightclub in Melbourne, Australia, when she was in her 20s.

“Katy sexually assaulted me at the spice market nightclub in Melbourne. Who gives a s–t what she thinks,” she wrote in response to Complex Music’s post about the Dark Horse singer’s reaction to Justin Bieber’s Coachella 2026 performance.

Sharing gross details, Rose went on saying that Katy “pulled her underwear to the side and rubbed her disgusting vagina on my face until my eyes snapped open and I projectile vomited on her”.

“After I threw up on her, I told the story publicly but changed it to be a ‘funny little drunk story’ because I didn’t know how else to handle it,” mentioned the actress.

Ruby pointed out, “Katy agreed to help me get my US visa. So, I kept it a secret. But I DID tell y’all she wasn’t a good person.”

Katy Perry’s response after sexual assault claims

Katy’s spokesperson reportedly rejected Ruby’s claims in a statement shared by Page Six.

“The allegations being circulated on social media by Ruby Rose about Katy Perry are not only categorically false, they are dangerous reckless lies,” it read.

Meanwhile, the singer’s rep added, “Ruby has well-documented history of making serious public allegations on social media against various individuals, claims that have repeatedly been denied by those named.”
