Prince William laid his feelings bare in a new interview.
The future king of UK did not hesitate to point out mistakes and express his desire for his life with family.
The Prince of Wales is married to Kate Middleton with whom he shares three kids.
Speaking to Eugene Levy on his Apple TV+ series The Reluctant Traveler, William said, “You have to have that warmth, that feeling of safety, security, love.”
“That all has to be there, and that was certainly part of my childhood. My parents got divorced at eight, so that lasted a short period of time.”, he said.
The 43-year-old further said that he learned from it and makes sure he doesn't make the same mistake as his parents.
“I think we all try and do that and I just want to do what’s best for my children, but I know that the drama and the stress when you’re small really affects you when you’re older.”, he added.
The father-of-three also revealed that he tries to be present for the start and end of his kids’ school day.
While William’s family life in UK is reportedly peaceful, his fallout with his brother Harry does not do much good for either of the royal brothers.
