Absentee voting is defined as the procedure that allows citizens to cast their vote through mail in America. If someone wants to avoid crowds they can go for absentee voting. However, for eligibility criteria people need to see their state’s website for election as rules keep altering due to covid-19 pandemic.

Majority of the states provide absentee ballots to the listed voters. In case you do not receive the ballot then you have to request one. Once you have received your ballot, you will need to fill the bubbles completely with a blue or black pen. You are not allowed to put any signs such as X.

After filling the ballot, read the instructions carefully which would help you understand what to do next. Moreover, deadlines for ballot submission also vary, so you need to check the official website of your state for the election.
