Sarah Paulson sat down for an interview where she revealed whether she would return to American Horror Story.
At the Through Her Lens: The Tribeca Chanel Women's Filmmaker Program Luncheon in New York City, she remarked, "I hope to be doing another season. Wink, wink.”
Series co-creator Ryan Murphy also previously teased her return in a now deleted Instagram post, writing, "Sarah Paulson and I are cooking up something cool!”
For Paulson, "the largest gift" of the series is that she "got to play so many different characters."
"It meant audiences largely didn't get attached to any type of character I played, which meant I have a lot more freedom and elasticity, in terms of what people will accept from me," she added.
"I haven't sort of got myself pigeonholed into one thing, which is, as an actor, is the greatest gift you could ever get,” the actress said further.
AHS is “an anthology horror drama series centering on different characters and locations, showcasing different aspects of horror. Created and produced by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk.”
