Blake Lively sent fans into a frenzy after posting about her hit TV show Gossip Girl, celebrating its 18th anniversary.
On September 21, the 38-year-old actress took to her Instagram to pay tribute to the teen romance show with a heartfelt note.
She captioned the carousel, “The summer gossip girl turned 18…This show was my college. It was my education, my social life, my hard work. So many memories. What. A. Decade.”
The series of pictures showcased behind the scenes of the cast back in early 2000s when the show premiered. Fans were also shocked to see pictures with Blake’s onscreen best friend, Leighton Meester.
Netizens took to the comments section to relive the memories. One fan wrote, “That Gatsby birthday was core memz .” Another well-wisher penned, “So many memories… so much fun.”
For the unversed, Gossip Girl ran from 2007 to 2013 for six seasons and followed the dramatic lives of privileged teenagers on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.
Aside from Blake Lively, the recurring show also included Leighton Meester, Penn Badgley, Chace Crawford, and Ed Westwick.
