Megan Thee Stallion’s mariachi band subpoena to streamer Adin Ross, has had a brand new development after the latter filed to have it overturned.
The Savage rapper issued the subpoena in her defamation case against Milagro Gramz.
She alleges that the gossip blogger spread false information about her other case, the Tory Lanez shooting, and the band was just a way to lure the internet personality outside his home.
Adin was required to produce relevant documents and also to be deposed in the case, but he quickly filed a motion to be excluded from the case, "The Complaint in this action makes no mention of Mr. Ross whatsoever," it reads.
"A review of the pleadings reveals that the dispute between Ms. Pete [Megan] and [Gramz] does not involve any facts, circumstances, or legal theories that would implicate Mr. Ross or suggest he possesses relevant information," the motion continued.
However, Adin’s attempts did not have the desired intent as the Judge presiding over the case, Lisette Reid, highlighted that he need to confer with the rapper’s team first.
This is standard procedure in such cases, and if Megan’s team refuses or the negotiations go south then he would be permissible for a hearing.
Tory was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon in July 2020 following a violent argument at a house party. Megan was with the rapper that night and was reported to have injured her foot due to shattered glass.
However, she later took to Instagram to claim that she was intentionally shot by Tory during the altercation.
