Britney Spears keeps Madonna waiting as reunion rumours heat up

Pop royalty could be gearing up for a jaw-dropping reunion if all goes to plan.

The one and only Madonna is said to be pulling out all the stops to get Britney Spears back by her side for her hotly anticipated new album, and fans are already buzzing at the thought.

The pair famously sent shockwaves through pop culture with their steamy kiss at the MTV Video Music Awards 2003, before teaming up on Britney’s smash hit Me Against the Music. 

Now, insiders claim that the 67-year-old singer is desperate to recreate that magic in the studio.

A source spilled that the Frozen hitmaker believes the 44-year-old singer is “not just a brilliant artist, but a lovely person”.

She added that she’s eager to tap into that chemistry once again. 

“They had such a great time working together before,” the insider revealed, “and Madonna feels Britney could bring something really special, whether it’s vocals or even songwriting ideas.”

However, it hasn’t all been smooth sailing. 

Despite Material Girl singer’s enthusiasm, Britney has yet to commit, leaving the collaboration hanging in the balance for now.

Behind the scenes, their bond runs deeper than chart-topping hits. 

Gimme More hitmaker has previously described Madonna as a mentor, recalling how the superstar supported her during a difficult time after her split from Justin Timberlake.
