Kate Middleton reveals Prince Louis's adorable autumn obsession

Kate Middleton delighted royal fans this week by sharing a sweet detail about her youngest son, Prince Louis, during a joint engagement with First Lady Melania Trump.

On the final day of Donald and Melania Trump’s state visit to the UK, the Princess of Wales joined the First Lady at Frogmore Gardens for activities with Squirrel Scouts, the youngest branch of the Scouting movement.

Chatting with the children and Scout leader Dwayne Fields, Kate revealed that six-year-old Louis has developed a love for collecting conkers this autumn. 

“We keep finding conkers in cupboards, in his bed, conkers everywhere,” she laughed. 

She added that her son even loads them into his toy trucks as part of his playtime.

The two women joined the children in painting leaves, making bug hotels, and sampling oat and cranberry biscuits baked with honey from Kate’s own beehives at Anmer Hall. 

Melania Trump presented each child with a Scout neckerchief and jars of White House honey, while Fields gifted her a Scout neckerchief to take home.
