US President Donald Trump has landed in UK for his second state visit.

The 47th President of US arrived with his wife, First Lady Melania Trump on September 17 and was greeted with a grand welcome by the royal family.

However, Trump’s arrival also sparked outrage among masses who criticised him for “breaking” royal protocol.

Trump was welcomed to Windsor Castle by King Charles III, Prince William and Princess Kate.

At one point, when Trump and Charles were inspecting a guard of honor together, the British monarch was spotted walking alone some distance behind Trump.

The incident sparked discourse among netizens.

British TV commentator Narinder Kaur wrote on X: “Oh god..he's walking infront of the King, like Charles doesn't even exist or matter!”

The protocol refers to the set of rules governing interactions with the royal family.

In addition, as per Newsweek, Trump was reportedly told to go first.

Another thing Trump was criticised for was “slapping” William’s arm when he shook his hand, after stepping off the Marine One helicopter in Windsor.
