King Charles welcomed Donald Trump and his wife, Melania Trump, at Windsor Castle on September 17.
First, Prince William and Princess Kate received the powerful political couple from the gardens of the royal home as they were landed via a helicopter.
The monarch and Queen Camilla greeted the royal guests as they appeared thrilled to host Trump and Melania for their second state visit, set to take place from 17 to 19 September.
After shaking hands and exchanging a few words, the royals and their guests then take a carriage through the Windsor estate.
Moreover, King Charles and Donald Trump inspected the guards on the Windsor grounds.
It is important to mention that the official engagements will begin from today, including the glitzy State Banquet, which will be hosted in honour of Donald and Melania Trump.
Notably, upon arriving in the UK on Tuesday evening, Trump showcased his admiration for King Charles in a fresh statement.
While talking with the reporters, he said, "They're friends of mine for a long time, since before he was King, and it's an honour to have him as King. I think he represents the country so well. He's such an elegant gentleman."
