Prince Harry's royal comeback blocked as Camilla 'won't forgive' him

Prince Harry may want to reconcile with the Royal Family, but insiders say Queen Camilla will never forgive him for the scathing remarks he made in his memoir Spare.

The Duke of Sussex, who turned 41 yesterday, branded his stepmother “dangerous,” “evil,” and “the villain” in the explosive book released in 2023. 

He also revealed that he and Prince William once tried to talk King Charles out of marrying her before their 2005 wedding.

An insider told The Times: “He has been extremely unkind to her in print and in word, and she doesn’t forgive easily.” 

The source added that even if some royals could move past Harry’s words, they won’t forget them: “The Royal Family make elephants look like they have short memories.”

Harry also described his first meeting with Camilla as feeling like an “injection,” writing: “Close your eyes and you won’t even feel it.”

Reports at the time suggested Camilla was deeply hurt by Harry’s portrayal, with friends claiming the memoir left lasting scars within the family. 

While the Duke has since expressed hopes of mending fences, it seems reconciliation with his stepmother may be the hardest road of all.
