Kate Middleton shares emotional message on motherhood

Kate Middleton has opened up about motherhood in an emotional message talking about the importance of mental health awareness.

The Princess of Wales, who is the mother of three children, wrote a letter to UK charity Maternal Mental Health Alliance (MMHA) which was shared on Instagram.

The emotional letter highlighted the importance of the charity’s new exhibition that explores the topic of mental health in motherhood.

The princess took a moment to raise awareness about the “unseen realities of mental health throughout pregnancy and beyond”.

“The MMHA continues to champion the voices of those navigating perinatal mental illness”, she wrote.

“Their new photographic exhibition, 'This is Also Motherhood', explores the often unseen realities of mental health throughout pregnancy and beyond.”, she added.

Explaining the charity’s motive, Kate wrote about the mental health journey of “ten extraordinary women” and praised them for their courage.

“Their courage to speak openly about their experiences, whether marked by trauma, joy, or resilience, demonstrates the great vulnerability and strength of the human condition”, she added.

The charity has expressed their gratitude for the Princess of Wales taking time to support them.

MMHA focuses on providing mothers with care who are struggling with perinatal problems.
