Prince Harry heading back to Canada to take on high-profile role

Prince Harry has secured a prominent new public role as he’s officially been announced as the headline keynote speaker at a major conference in Toronto next month.

The Duke of Sussex, 41, will lead the main session at The Orea Power House Conference, where he is expected to deliver a keynote address centered on “service and leadership.”

The one-day event, described as a political affairs gathering bringing together “leaders, political pundits and powerful insiders”, focuses on key issues such as Canada’s housing supply, real estate policy, and economic outlook.

It will take place on December 1 at the Hilton in downtown Toronto, and organisers are enthusiastically promoting Harry’s appearance, urging attendees to register early to “see Prince Harry, in person!”

So far, it has not been confirmed whether Meghan Markle, 44, will accompany her husband on this trip.

Sharing the announcement on Facebook, The Buzz Conference said on behalf of The Orea Power House: “The Headliner Keynote Speaker is Prince Harry, humanitarian, mental health advocate, environmentalist, and military combat veteran.

“His work is dedicated to creating positive and lasting change for communities and the planet, particularly in advancing conversations around resilience and healing.”

“Now, he won’t be speaking about Real Estate. Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, will bring a powerful message of service and leadership to the Power House stage. Trust us, you’re not going to want to miss this one!”

Harry recently spent time in Toronto earlier this month as part of his Remembrance commemorations, attending engagements with veterans, military charities and members of the armed forces community.

Meghan did not join him for that visit.
