Kate Middleton has returned with her first live speech since her cancer diagnosis.
The Princess of Wales was diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer in 2024 and has been recovering since after receiving treatment.
On November 18, the princess gave her first live speech since the diagnosis at The Future Workforce Summit.
The event was hosted by The Royal Foundation Business Taskforce for Early Childhood.
Speaking at the event, Kate said “My passion and the work of the Centre for Early Childhood stems from one essential truth; that the love we feel in our earliest years fundamentally shapes who we become and how we thrive as adults.”
She talked about “love” being the first and most essential bond and highlighted the importance of nurturing relationships to create safe environment for children to grow.
The future queen looked elegant as she arrived in a grey suit paired with a white button up blouse, by Roland Mouret.
The last time Kate spoke publicly at an event was in November 2023 when she gave a speech at the Shaping Us National Symposium in support of her early childhood center.
