Taylor Swift, who recently got engaged with NFL star Travis Kelce, was once again involved in the ongoing legal crossfire between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.
Although the 35-year-old’s deposition was earlier dismissed, Justin Baldoni’s team claimed that the singer agreed to be summoned in the case.
For the cause, the filmmaker’s team demanded an extension, a request which has been turned down by the judge according to Deadline.
Judge Liman revealed a ruling on the matter, highlighting an absence of “good cause for their requested extension.”
It was noted in the new court documents that the Grammy winner was previously subpoenaed in “May 2025” before “ultimately withdrawing the” request.
While the Wayfarer Parties alleged that the singer approved their request, Judge made it clear that “no evidence” was presented by the company.
The Bad Blood hitmaker, who is about to release The Life of A Showgirl, got entangled in this legal warfare due to her friendship with Blake, who reportedly called Taylor one of her dragons.
According to It Ends With Us director, the Gossip Girl alum used the influence of her husband Ryan Reynolds and Taylor to introduce changes in the script.
The drama unfolded in December 2024 after the Colleen Hover’s movie fadaptation released. The mother-of-four filed a sexual harassment case against Justin.
