Benny Blanco makes extraordinary journey to be with Selena Gomez

Benny Blanco has proved just how far he is willing to go for love after revealing he is crossing the Atlantic Ocean by boat to reunite with wife Selena Gomez in the UK because he is too scared to fly.

The 38-year-old music producer shared the unexpected journey with fans on TikTok, posting a snap of himself aboard a vessel as he headed towards Britain, where Selena is currently filming the sixth series of Only Murders in the Building ahead of her 34th birthday on July 22.

Joking about his unusual mode of transport, he wrote: "POV: ur traveling across the atlantic in the titanic to see ur wife bc ur scared of flying."

He added in the caption: "the things we do for love."

The clip also featured a peaceful view of the open sea as Benny pointed towards something on the horizon, giving followers a glimpse of his lengthy voyage.

The loved-up couple have been spending time apart in recent weeks while the songstress has been working in London, but distance has done little to dampen their romance.

Last month, the 33-year-old actress and singer melted fans' hearts by sharing a collection of cosy photos with her husband, including one of him planting a kiss on her chest. 

Alongside the snaps, she wrote: "distance means so little when someone means so much… @itsbennyblanco mish you bb."

Although the pair went public with their romance in December 2023 before tying the knot in September 2025, Benny recently revealed they had secretly dated for around nine months first.

Speaking to Spain's El Pais, he explained that they deliberately kept their relationship private, admitting he prefers to stay away from the spotlight because famous people face constant scrutiny. 

Despite those concerns, he said love ultimately won, and now he's even crossing an ocean to be by Selena's side.
